Young people We inspire students, opening their eyes to possible career paths to prepare them for the rapidly changing world of work and increase their employability.’ Educators We support teachers to improve their provision of careers education for their students, helping to close the gap between the curriculum and the world of work. Businesses We help to grow a greater and more diverse talent pipeline to reduce the skills gap in the future. It was inspiring and engaging and helped me to understand different options of career paths. The event also helped me think about the subjects I would like to take in higher education. From the feedback that we have received, we know that: 82% of students believe F4S events help them understand the pathway to a career 83% of students say that careers events help them to feel inspired to learn new skills 81% of educators said they would strongly recommend F4S to other teaching professionals 91% of educators said that F4S is a helpful tool for delivering careers provision 92% of business leaders said they would recommend Founders4Schools to other business leaders. We are enhancing and promoting our platform to: Ensure young people can enjoy impactful encounters with inspiring role models through virtual presentations & webinars as well as in-class events Offer businesses and their employees the opportunity to make an impact, wherever they are based at the flexibility and discretion of the volunteer through virtual encounters Identify and match the best placed volunteers based on the requests or needs of the students such as Special Educational Needs, Ethnicity, Language, Gender Ensure maximum impact for students by identifying the journey they should take across all our encounter types via an automated recommendation engine Connect students to real-world, vital, virtual work experience placements to support career choices and employability chances* Ensure all girls aged 11-14 in schools across England experience a ‘Maths4Girls’ encounter to close the gender gap on students studying Maths beyond GCSE Connect educators with virtual mentors to support up-skilling and instilling confidence in teaching careers education across various industries *via our affiliate partner, Workfinder.
