You can't be what you can't see. Role models are so important to us all, but even more so when you are in education, trying to discover your career options and make important choices. In fact, research shows that students who experience four or more business role model encounters are five times less likely to be not in education, employment or training when they leave school.

Founders4Schools (F4S) improves student's employment prospects by ensuring role models are accessible to all, without barriers, through a free, quick and easy platform which allows educators to arrange inspiring role model encounters to take place in the classroom or virtually.

IICF supports the F4S initiative Maths4Girls, which aims to drive equity in STEM through inviting female role models to educate and inspire girls on the power of pursuing post-16 maths.

This year, IICF's Global Week of Giving coincides with F4S' Role Model Week, from 9th - 15th October, which highlights the importance role models have in young people's lives by encouraging schools and businesses to get involved. We are asking IICF members to register on the F4S platform to volunteer as a role model to inspire the next generation of talent in insurance.
