Virtual Careers Jam Inspiring and empowering the next generation about their career possibilities. TUESDAY 3RD MAY 2022! Following the success of our first Careers Jam in 2021 which supported over 1,600 students in discovering and developing their employability skills, we are excited to be holding the event again in 2022. Our mission is to help young people to prepare for their future careers, and help to narrow the skills gap. The day will include a variety of panel discussions and workshops where industry leaders and young professionals will share their experience, advice and tips on a range of issues relevant to young people aged between 16-24. Young people will be able to engage in discussions about a variety of topics, such as digital careers, sustainability, financial awareness and entrepreneurship. 2021 event in numbers... All content on the platform, including recordings of the live sessions from the day and the virtual exhibition stands will be available on demand for four months meaning there's plenty of time to catch up on sessions and visit all the different organisations represented to see their career opportunities. The event is free for all to attend, students can book to attend individually or teachers and career leaders can register on behalf of their students to attend as a group. We have a great range of sponsorship packages available as well as virtual exhibition opportunities available for our corporate supporters. This is a great way to connect with the next generation of talent and offers the opportunity to hold panel discussions or keynote addresses to all attendees. You can also advertise any apprenticeships, grad schemes or job opportunities you have available and connect 1:1 with young people to discuss opportunities with them, and as the platform is live for four months, you can update this information with new opportunities whenever you like.
