Support Us Make a donation Futures4Students Donate The pandemic is causing devastation for millions of young lives across the UK. For so many, the future does not seem bright and full of opportunity. Instead, it presents uncertainty, despair and crushed aspirations. Mental health concerns are more evident in 16-24 year olds than any other age group, with one in four UK young people feeling they are 'unable to cope' with life in the pandemic, Under-25s now make up a third of new universal credit claims, make up those most likely to lose their jobs, and socio-economic disadvantage is more apparent than ever. F4S Futures4Students Fund On Tuesday 1 December 2020 Founders4Schools proudly launched the Futures4Students Fund to change the trajectory of the ‘Covid Generation’. We cannot know exactly what the future holds, but we can influence hope and inspire futures. Inspire ambition . Create equal opportunity to success . Donate Today Charities have estimated a £10bn funding gap in 2020; F4S is no exception. We were incredibly grateful to receive over £2000 in donations from our launch but this was only the first step. We are proud that we were able to adapt, enabling us to deliver our free career services virtually during lockdown, but there is much more we can and must do to reach the most impacted young people in the UK right now. How your donation will make an impact: F4S connects students with business volunteers to inspire ambition and career options. Research shows that students who experience 4 encounters with business role models are 5x less likely to become ‘Not in Education, Employment or Training’ (NEET). Since 2015, F4S has brokered 1.2 million encounters between business leaders and students. In these uncertain times, it is more important than ever to continue supporting teachers to inspire their students about future career pathways. Our aim is to facilitate 10 million student-employer encounters by 2023 and reach 2.5 million students across the UK. Please help us to reach this goal by making a donation today.
